Newman Ceramic Works has a website

My parents have created a website for their business “Newman Ceramic Works“. They have been doing ceramics out of Salem for many years. Check it out to see what they create. They have links to galleries that carry their work, including The Real Mother Goose in Portland.

I have a pair of Calla Lily glasses in turquoise and brown. The bottom is marked “Newman Ceramic Works, Albq, NM” Is this the same company? The signature of the artist has a large “D” first name and “A” last name but I cannot make out the rest. Have they recently moved to New Mexico? Thanks for your assistance.

The goblets you refer to were made by the same company. They are now located in Salem, Oregon, and have been for quite a while now.

The signature, I believe is “Newman”, but written in a stylistic manner.

I recently receive 4 cally lilly vases in white. I would like more. Are they available anywhere and do you have a price for them?

I have 5 goblets that look like a Tulip, clear glass stem and a waterlilly leaf/pad for a base. It also has a large D with I belive Newman in script. The goblet is pink to tan on the out side and cream on the inside and the pad is green to cream. Also so says Newman Ceramic Works, ABQ New Mexico. I just noticed on has a crack in it. I bought them from an estate about 10 years ago and wanted to know how old they are and can I get any more? By the way the stem is straight and the goblet is about 2-3 in. acrossed the top. Wated to write and find out more. I just love them. Reminds me of some of tiffany’s pieces.

Thanks in advance. If and when you reply please put Newman Ceramics in the subject like.

I have a scallop shaped covered dish, about 4×5″, stamped Newman Ceramic Works, Alba. NM, and it is signed. A grayish color. I’d like to know a little about it, eg. year made, price. Thank you
